Shadow Kitchen presents HIDING PLACES, a selection of short films from the 8th Cosmic Rays Film Festival curated by John Winn, featuring work by Lilli Carré, Ben Russell, David de Rozas, Jesse McLean, Harper Stone, Kate E. Hinshaw, Andrea Marquez, and Magdalena Bermudez.
What do places hide? What histories and stories remain hidden—waiting to be excavated—in places which seem all too familiar, already known? Malls and museums, rivers and forests, living rooms and TV screens. A program of short experimental films about these places, about the people that resist, inhabit, exploit, and hide into them.
