This December we&#8217;ll be taking a turn towards the gothic, sitting down with the Colombian multimedia artist and current contestant of The Boulet Brothers&#8217; Dragula (Season 5), Orkgotik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orkgotik\u2019s unique DIY approach to prosthetics &#8211; transforming the humanoid into ecstatic fleshy nightmare monster &#8211; is challenging the definition of drag for audiences of the current season of Dragula (AMC+, Shudder).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll be looking back before the drag and prosthetics to Orkgotik&#8217;s early short films, and his continued video work he&#8217;s directed, starred in, or created prosthetics for, and his collaborations with other South American artists in Buenos Aires. Following the screening, there will be a conversation between Orkgotik and filmmaker Anderson Matthew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ARTIST BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Orkgotik<\/strong> is a Colombian artist based in Buenos Aires. He creates unique body prosthetics and is a performer in various capacities in the art world, club scene and current contestant of The Boulet Brothers&#8217; Dragula (Season 5). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
